With everything set up I go upstairs to change into the outfit that I had chosen for the party.

When I come back down I grin. "Happy birthday, Kiki! Wow, you guys look great!"

*Heads on upstairs to start getting ready for Kikis party. Pulls on the outfit that we got the other day and sits at my mirror, carefully adding some make up to complement the outfit. Smiles at the effect before heading on back downstairs.

I had told the girls what we would be doing for Kiki's birthday, since Toni's ad been the day before. It seemed redundant to do the same thing and, besides, there is a large difference between a 10-year-old's birthday and a 4-year-old's.
I had taken the older girls to a costume shop while Kiki was at a playdate earlier in the week. There, I had rented fancy tea party outfits for each of them and myself, then chosen one for Kiki.
On Kiki's birthday I tell her to go put on the dress on her bed and set up the tea set in the living room.
